Individual Evaluation – Rebeccha Pinhorne
For this assignment I worked with Charis Wakeford. As a
team/pair we worked very well together throughout the whole assignment as a
pair and individuals. The work I did individually was put together the creative
brief, campaign strategy, marketing plan and print advert, I didn’t mind doing
most of the writing because I knew Charis is very creative and I could trust
her to do the design work well. Together we made the creative solutions, where
we put all of our ideas onto a mind map and expanded them. Throughout the whole
assignment we helped each other on the pieces of work we agreed to do. We gave
constructive criticism and our opinions on how we could make each other’s work
better. This worked well for the both of us as we believe it has made an
improvement with each others input. To be able to create our design work we
needed to use Adobe Illustrator for the best results for our work and for our
creative solutions we used the program Inspiration to help create a smart and
organised mind map.
Each week we set ourselves targets on what work we wanted
done and completed. Every week we managed this and it worked very well for the
both of us as the work slowly cut down and the pressure of the deadline was
starting to ease. At every lesson we wrote down what we had done and what
needed to be done and did the most important and hardest work first because we
knew we had plenty of time in case we were running behind.
A big challenge that came up for us was at the beginning
when given the assignment we knew nothing about Cultural Olympiad and it was a
big struggle to start the assignment with little knowledge. We over come this
by doing lots of research on the Cultural Olympiad and understanding its aim,
throughout the assignment we gained more and more knowledge on the subject that
made it easier to work with.
Our biggest achievement was getting our work in on the due
date knowing what we have done is at a good standard. We also think an
achievement is the quality of work we done in the short time we were given as
it wasn’t a long assignment that we’re normally used to.
