CULTURAL OLYMPIAD - TARGET AUDIENCE


Target Audience

The target audience we will be campaigning is the younger generation from 16-30 year olds. We have chosen this target audience because we know that this target audience can also make this even more well known to the country. We have also decided to target fans of some of the artists that are part of the festival such as Giles Deacon, Leona Lewis, David Hockney and Box of Frogs.

 We have decided that with the festival using young musical acts such as Leona Lewis and Plan B it will attract teenagers from the age of around 16 all the way to about 21. It will also attract fans of Leona and Plan B as well as our target audience, this will raise more awareness of this festival too and have more people attend it just to see these acts. As well as musicians there will be famous fashion designers and Oscar winning directors that will still attract more of our target audience that will be interested in the festival activities.

This festival will also be a family event that they can attend and join in with. We know that there are younger families so that is why we want to target 30 year olds and possibly higher. There are a lot of young aspiring people that would come to this event seeing it as a possible opportunity to join in. From young up and coming artists, fashion designers, directors, musicians and dancers it is perfect for the younger generation to give them something they know and can look forward to and join in with.
